JATA collaborates with the World Health Organization (WHO) and contributes to the Stop TB Partnership through various activities.  JATA has been a member of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases (IUATLD) since 1952. RIT was designated as a WHO collaborating center in 1982. It also has been contributing to TSRU as a member since 1978.  Furthermore, JATA staff is assigned as WHO short-term consultants to attend Technical Advisory Group Meetings at both the global and regional levels.  JATA staff has provided technical input at the DOTS Expansion Working Group, TB/HIV Working Group, Technical Review Committee of Global Drug Facility and GFATM as a member of the committees.
